Online and mobile banking

Whenever and wherever you are, our mobile app and online banking service provide convenient and secure access to your finances. Managing your money becomes quick and easy, with the ability to make transfers and payments whenever and wherever you choose.

  • Access to UK and international banking services providing accounts in a choice of 15 major currencies
  • Day-to-day transactional banking, such as standing orders, direct debits, international payments and transfers 

Enabling you to earn more from low-risk, short-term cash deposits in any currency, you’re in charge of deciding how long you’d like to deposit money for. We agree on a competitive interest rate with you, which is fixed for the term.

 

We also offer institutional and wholesale deposit services.

Available as separate cards to access Sterling, Euros or US Dollars, our Visa platinum debit cards give you instant access to your money 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere in the world.

 

  • As a cardholder, you will have access to an estimated three and a half million cash machines in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide
  • A dedicated Visa contact telephone number is provided for all our Visa Platinum cardholders. The helpdesk is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere in the world
  • Current and historical Visa transactions are available online or via the mobile app

Our comprehensive range of foreign exchange facilities provide you with a range of services including:

  • Spot pricing and deal execution in 15 currencies
  • Hedging facilities and forward foreign exchange contracts
  • Limit orders for foreign exchange transactions at pre-agreed levels.

 

Our experienced in-house treasury team works with your private banker to help you to conduct transactions as needed, or at pre-set market levels, with the ability to immediately quote rates and execute transactions for 15 major currencies.

 

For those who trade over £1 million a year in foreign exchange trades, you may be eligible for our FX Direct service. Please speak to your private banker to find out more details.

Andrew Halsall

Andrew Halsall

Andrew heads up the Isle of Man private banking team. He joined the bank in 2005 and has over 30 years’ banking experience. He looks after a portfolio of domestic and internationally-based clients, working closely with them, and their professional advisers, to meet their wealth management, succession planning, pension and lending needs.

 

Andrew is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Rob Currie

Rob Currie

Rob joined the team in 2011 with responsibility for Nedbank Private Wealth’s presence in the UK. His primary role is overseeing the bank’s growth across the UK market.

 

Rob has 25 years’ experience in financial services serving the high-net-worth market. His previous roles include managing partner at Coutts and head of sales at Citizen’s Private Bank & Trust in Boston, USA.

 

He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Andrew Bates

Andrew Bates

Andrew has over 27 years’ banking experience and joined us from Lloyds TSB in Miami where he was responsible for providing banking and investment services to clients in Latin America and the Caribbean. He initially joined the bank’s Isle of Man office in 2004, and following secondments in the South Africa and London offices, he moved to the UAE in 2013.

 

Based in Dubai, Andrew is primarily responsible for the bank's international growth in both the private client and intermediary sectors in the Middle East. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and recently graduated from the London Business School with an Executive MBA. Andrew also has full STEP membership, qualifying him as a Trust and Estate Practitioner.

Cameron Walker

Cameron Walker

Cameron began his career with Nedbank Private Wealth as a private banker in 2002 and has more than 25 years of industry experience.

 

In his current role as head of private banking in Jersey, Cameron has responsibility for our team of wealth management professionals on the island, building long-term relationships through delivery of excellent client experiences. He is also responsible for leading our relationship with Nedbank Private Wealth in South Africa, a key strategic partner for whom we provide international custody, managed investments and banking services. Cameron continues to maintain a number of client relationships, ensuring our services evolve with clients' changing needs.

 

Cameron is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
