Chris leads a team of risk professionals supporting the business in its growth agenda across international jurisdictions, including the UK, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Errol joined the boards of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed Nedbank Group Ltd and Nedbank Ltd as an independent non-executive director on 1 August 2016. He chairs the following three Board sub-committees: Group Credit Committee; Group Risk and Capital Management Committee; and the Group Large-exposure Approval Committee. He also serves on the Group Audit Committee and the Director’s Affairs (Governance) Committee.
From September 2003 to July 2011 Errol was the Registrar of Banks at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), having been with the SARB from July 1978 until July 2011. As the Registrar of Banks, he represented South Africa as a full member of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision from 2009 to 2011 and he successfully project managed South Africa’s early adoption, and full implementation, of both the revised 25 Basel Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision as well as Basel II. Errol contributed in a material manner to the South African banking system successfully navigating the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 and he was awarded the Risk Manager of the Year award in 2010 by the South African Institute of Risk Management.
Errol was appointed Managing Director of Supervision and Authorisation at the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority on 1 August 2011 and thereafter appointed by the Board of the Qatar Central Bank to serve on Qatar’s Financial Stability and Risk Control Committee. Errol relinquished his role at the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority on 31 July 2016.
Errol also serves on the board of a JSE listed fintec company, Capital Appreciation Limited, and is a member of the Board Investment Committee.

Iolanda Ruggiero was appointed to the Board in 2015 and is Nedbank Group's Shareholder Representative on the Nedbank Private Wealth board. Iolanda is also a non-executive director on the Nedgroup Trust Limited board.
Nedbank Private Wealth Limited and its international entities form part of a cluster of wealth businesses based in South Africa. This cluster is known as Nedbank Wealth and Iolanda is its Managing Executive and she holds the reporting line for Stuart Cummins.
Iolanda joined the Nedbank Group in 2002 as an Operations Manager within the investment division and was appointed as the Managing Executive of Nedbank Wealth in 2015.
She has over 18 years’ experience in financial services, 16 of which have been at Nedbank. Iolanda has held senior management positions in Nedcor Investment Bank and Nedbank Retail, and was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Nedbank Wealth in 2006. During her tenure with Nedbank Wealth, Iolanda played an integral role in the acquisition and seamless integration of BoE Private Clients, Nedgroup Life and Fairbairn Private Bank into Nedbank Group.

John has held a number of high-profile senior roles, most recently as of Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission – a position he held for 12 years. He is a regular contributor to financial services debates on numerous subjects, including the global role of International Finance Centres.
Prior to his role at the Jersey Financial Services Commission, he was the Director – International Finance for the Government of Jersey and responsible for all aspects of the policy on the maintenance and enhancement of the island’s position as an international finance centre. Jeremy Wilson was appointed to the Board in March 2020 as a Non-Executive Director.
Jeremy retired recently as Vice Chairman of Barclays Corporate with Barclays Bank PLC. During his 47 year career with Barclays he worked across its major business units and in Australasia, Vanuatu, the United States of America, Europe and UK. As part of his senior executive role for the Bank he was, inter alia, Chairman of its Group Credit Committee, Director of Barclays Bank Pension Fund Trustees, and Chairman of Barclays Bank Egypt. As a representative of Barclays or of the financial services industry, he was Chairman of BAFT, Chairman of CHAPS, a Director of TheCityUK and Chairman of its Audit Committee. In addition to his responsibilities beyond Barclays, he was Non-Executive Chairman of Bloomsbury Publishing PLC.
He is currently Chairman of the Whitechapel Think Tank, a forum for the public and private sector on distributed ledger technologies, a member of the Advisory Board of Form3, a payments start-up, and supports, as required, the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Nathan was one of the first members of staff at Nedgroup Trust, which was trading as Fairbairn Reads Trust in Guernsey, when he joined in 1992. He previously worked for five years at a private bank.

Marcus joined Nedgroup Trust in 2001 and has 28 years of experience in the management of private client wealth, including 12 years at a major private bank providing a diverse range of banking, investment and estate planning services.
