Simon Quirk

Simon joined the business as an IT manager in 2003, taking on the role of chief technology officer in June 2022. He is responsible for the technology strategy and ongoing technical operations at Nedbank Private Wealth. Before taking his current role, he managed the company’s client-facing digital platforms.

Having worked in the technology sector for over 30 years, Simon has built up a wealth of experience and has held senior technology roles within the finance, software development and shipping industries.

He first became interested in technology as a youngster. A keen developer at the age of ten, he spent many hours writing computer games on his Sinclair ZX81. His love of technology and information security has continued.

Simon is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
