Karim Chowdhury

Karim Chowdhury joined Nedbank Private Wealth in 2026 as Head of Private Banking for the Isle of Man. He leads a team of specialists dedicated to building lasting client relationships and delivering bespoke strategies to help clients achieve their long-term goals.

He brings 15 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, having held senior positions across the UK, Jersey and Bermuda. Throughout his career, Karim has focused on supporting ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients, ensuring tailored solutions that meet their complex international needs.

Prior to joining Nedbank Private Wealth, Karim was a Director at Union Bancaire Privée and a Vice President at Bank of Butterfield. He also held roles at Schroders Personal Wealth and HSBC Expat, working with internationally based clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Karim holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Investment Fund Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He also completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford – Saïd Business School.
