Nedbank Private Wealth Announces Three New Board Appointments

Nedbank Private Wealth is pleased to announce the appointment of three distinguished Non-Executive Directors to its Board, reinforcing its commitment to delivering exceptional client-focused private banking and wealth services from its offices in Isle of Man, UK, Jersey, South Africa and Dubai.

Mike Davis, Chief Financial Officer of Nedbank Group. Mike has over 27 years of experience in financial services and has been a member of Nedbank’s Group Executive Committee since 2015. His expertise spans finance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning, making him a key contributor to the Board’s oversight and governance. Mike was recognised as CFO of the year 2024 by CFO South Africa.

Ciko Thomas, Group Managing Executive for Personal Private Banking at Nedbank Group also joins the Board. Ciko is a seasoned corporate executive and entrepreneur with a career spanning over 15 years at Nedbank. His leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation and transformation across multiple business units, including his previous roles as Group Executive for Marketing, Communications and Corporate Affairs, and Managing Executive of Consumer Banking.

Paula Moore has also joined the Board as an independent non-executive director. Paula brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the Jupiter Group. She currently holds non-executive roles at Jupiter Unit Trust Managers Limited, Jupiter Asset Management (Europe) Limited, and Jupiter Global Fund, as well as Octopus Money Unit Trust Managers Limited and Allianz Global Investors UK Limited. Paula’s extensive expertise in investment, operations, and technology will be invaluable to the Board.
