Financial Crime Assurance Manager

The Financial Crime Assurance Manager will support the MLROs and the risk teams in the delivery of the regulatory handbook requirements.

An integral role working within the Compliance team to assist with ensuring compliance within the regulatory environment including anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism, relating to the ongoing review and assessment of high risk cases including the review of Client CDD/EDD and transaction monitoring, by performing a range of Compliance related tasks within agreed timeframes, to support the bank and Compliance function and ensure client service excellence is delivered to internal and external stakeholders and clients.

The Tax Specialist is responsible for ensuring that NPWI complies with all regulations that affect its taxation obligations in the jurisdictions where it carries on business. A key purpose of the role is to ensure that NPWI executes and adheres to the Nedbank Level 1 Tax Policy (as reviewed annually).
