James Ollivro

James is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the treasury team, overseeing the management of inherent liquidity, interest rate and foreign exchange risk. He also works in conjunction with Steve Fox, head of treasury, to ensure client foreign exchange and deposit pricing remains competitive to industry peers, and to manage clients’ bespoke currency requirements.

Based in Jersey, James has more than 25 years of treasury experience, having started his banking career at UK Merchant Bank and Morgan Grenfell, before joining Nedbank Private Wealth in 1998.

James is a member of the bank’s Treasury Asset and Liability Committee.
