Our experts here in Jersey have extensive experience of working with trustees, set laws, beneficiaries, and their other advisers.

We offer these services to both the Jersey professional community, but also to our other offices and jurisdictions in London, the Isle of Man, as well as the representative office in Dubai, the senior private banking team in Jersey each, have, on average, over 30 years’ experience.

And in addition to CISI qualifications, several of us have STEP qualifications and have worked for trust companies ourselves.

We each bring different specialisms from investment and wealth management, banking, lending, private client advice, all of which are valued by our trustee relationships and their clients.

Nedbank actually had its own trust company until 2022, and whilst roles and responsibilities were of course segregated, we work very closely with the trust team and therefore have a good understanding of what successful solutions and relationships need.

Personally, as a founder of Enhanced Group, I work with trustees at every stage of the lifecycle. From getting a detailed understanding of the requirements right at the outset, articulating those requirements with potential investment managers, chairing a tender process or a beauty parade, appointing that investment manager, and then formalising the objectives and requirements through an investment policy statement.

Thereafter, of course, the portfolios were monitored regularly. This goes well beyond a simple fact find and ensures a very robust framework and ultimately an award-winning client experience.

Having also spent three years as the managing director of professional services business with a licensed trust company and having started my career as a discretionary portfolio manager, I bring extensive experience to play at every important stage.
