We have an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join our Treasury Team within the Isle of Man office. The successful candidate will responsible for ensuring Treasury settlements and positions are completed accurately and within stringent deadlines, monitoring and reporting on the risks arising from Treasury activities of the bank, assisting with bank reconciliations and settlement of company invoices.

Role specific details

  • Reporting overnight nostro positions and providing status update for overdrawn or excessive balance
  • Checking treasury front office daily cash position calculations
  • Agreeing and matching counterparty confirmations
  • Preparation of foreign exchange, money market and counterparty deals
  • Settling money market and foreign exchange counterparty deals
  • Administration of FRN, CD, Treasury Bills, interest rate swaps products
  • Production and monitoring of daily interest margin reports and forecasts
  • Preparation and review of daily limit reports including liquidity, foreign exchange, counterparty & country exposures ensuring adherence to limits
  • Preparation and oversight of daily bank reconciliations, investigating and clearing outstanding treasury related items
  • Update/amend counterparty limits, tenors, credit ratings when limits revised
  • Checking base rate and credit suite amendments authorised in accordance with procedure and accurately performed
  • Maintenance of up-to-date standard settlement instructions for all counterparties
  • Assisting with production of internal, group and regulatory reporting requirements relating to treasury activities
  • Assisting with the settlement of company expenses and processing of company visa card transactions
  • Involvement in other ad hoc tasks as and when required by the finance team. 


Technical Skills and Experience

  • Previous treasury experience including knowledge of settlement and administration processes and procedures would be an advantage
  • Technical knowledge of treasury products and confidence to challenge unusual Treasury Front Office dealings, question rationale for investment decisions and report unusual anomalies
